Are We In The Middle Of A Spiritual Awakening?
I don't know about you but I've definitely noticed the shift and I've also felt the calling. What does that even mean? Well it's different for everyone. I've been a seeker of wisdom all of my adult life. It's only fitting that I have been invited to be a Top Mentor on the Wisdom App. Which I'm so proud to say was founded by a beautiful and brilliant black woman named Dayo Akinrinade (see article in Entrepreneur.com). This app is everything that the others are not. In spite of the fact that all humanity presents in various ways, and social environments tend to evolve in predictable ways. You can feel an obvious difference in the community on Wisdom.
I can't help wonder if it has everything to do with the divine feminine energy behind it.

Unlike all the other apps I've used to host live talks, with listener participation, for the specific purpose of uploading to my podcast... This is the 1st one where you can click the shareable link and listen in your browser without joining or logging in. Some think it's not good to allow people to access content for free without capturing their data. But therein lies the difference in this app and all the others and I suspect the result will be obvious as well. When you support people and value their contribution, you build brand loyalty, especially for mindful creators.
The second reason I'm over the moon to share this news is because my very 1st interview is with Dr. Lisa Brewer!

I've only known her for a short time but I have learned and grown just by being in her presence and I absolutely love her perspective. She is a seasoned minster, teacher, scholar, an experienced business woman and a grandmother. I couldn't keep her to myself. So I asked if she would mind sharing her beautiful light with all of you...
For many years I've focused on helping social entrepreneurs build their business while mentoring and coaching others in their community. In recent years I have transitioned from managing operations to enjoying life, just being, getting back to nature and enjoying my twin flame. I still share my advice when asked, support the organization I founded, and volunteer in the community. But my vision is focused on just being and sharing my voice. Often times a phrase that is thrown around in the business world or any organizational development situation is " good help is hard to find." And after 20 years in the corporate world and 15 years building a non-profit and developing my own brand I can say that statement seems true. However it is almost impossible to help someone shift their perspective if they are hungry. Likewise it is equally if not more difficult to help someone develop their leadership skills, or commit to even their own vision if they are spiritually starved, depressed or otherwise living in stress... and why would we want to? We are all capable of being a light in the darkness. The only question is, will we.
While researching my own ancestry and observing the trauma of the past 3-5 years, I began to find out more about the spiritual practices of my ancestors. This lead me to certain truths that I have not yet discussed publicly except on a few TikTok lives. I don't take my position as an influencer lightly. I never have. So I do not speak on topics that I am not qualified to speak on and I try to stay in my lane. I learned a lot as I was doing my personal deep dive from the likes of Kurimeo, Bruce Lipton, Greg Braden, Alan Watts and so many others current and past. Notice a patern here? I stopped studying and started practicing. I moved into just being and experiencing, noticing that so many were struggling to find peace and yet I still did not believe I would be the one to share this knowledge with my audience until I met Dr. Lisa.
